As a sophmore at Little Flower Academy, Jasmine is empathetic, patient, and dedicated to enhance the learning journey of young learners. As a leader, volunteering at Pearl's Club and working with young girls from K-6 bring her joy -- being able to witness their growth and the smiles on their faces. She not only aspires to deliver quality tutoring, but also seeks to inspire young learners with her genuine passion, hopefullly igniting a lifelong love of learning for her young studemts. Throughout her academic journey, she achieved the honour to represent her school district as Outstanding Student of 2021 in HK, and fulfilled her duty as head prefect of her school. She held the top 3 highest average in her grade for 4 consecutive years, and was also awarded the LFA bronze medal of excellence last year. Honourned to perform as a violinst at a TEDx event and invited to sing at Carneige Hall New York, Jasmine is passionate about Music outside of school. She also enjoys Model UN and Debate, winning several awards throughout the years.
As a sophomore in Little Flower Academy, Sherlynn is dedicated to working with students on their paths to academic success. With over 170 hours of teaching experience at Vancouver Chess School, Percy Norman Swim Club, and as a private chess coach, Sherlynn found genuine passion in teaching! Through her commitment, Sherlynn was also promoted to Program Coordinator at Learning Buddies Network. Throughout her academic journey, Sherlynn was awarded the Bronze Medal of Excellence Scholarship and the School Champion in the 2023 UWaterloo Math Contest. She consistently ranked top 3 within her class in elementary school in Hong Kong, while ranking 1st in class in Chinese. Sherlynn also took on multiple iniatives as the founder of chess club, class president of the General Student Council, and team leader of the Mental Health and Wellness Committee! With that, Sherlynn is thrilled to extend her passions by offering tutoring service to your child!
Nicole, a current sophomore at Little Flower Academy, is enthralled to be a tutor at Casia Learning. She is passionate about helping students accomplish academic success and is committed to making learning a fun and personalized experience. Nicole has experience working with young learners, including volunteer work at elementary schools such as Corpus Christi Elementary, or working with the Learning Buddies Network as a math mentor. Nicole has consistently remained an honours student throughout her high school journey and received an Academic Excellence Award scholarship from Corpus Christi Elementary in 2021. Moreover, she has received first class honours on numerous practical piano and piano theory exams. In her spare time, she enjoys refining her piano skills, swimming, debating, reading new novels, baking with friends, writing articles for the school magazine, or volunteering for various causes, including senior luncheons or pancake breakfasts.
